Above are some more pixel art designs I have done to add to my asset list and to be used in my potential game. I have already got some ideas down in my own private notes but once I finalise my ideas I will make a blog post explaining them all, along with some concept art of what the game could look like. These posts won’t be as frequent as some others because I work on this project generally on a night time after working on other (“bigger”) projects, as a way to decline and also be creative.
I have created some fairly simple platforms above that can be used in a modular format to create the basics of my level layout. I also want to create bridges and other platforms to be used in my game so it doesn’t all the the same. However, I do plan on making it all follow a set colour scheme, with possibly a few twists throughout.
I am overall, very pleased with how these turned out and I believe they could make a very nice game layout. Only thing I would do personally to improve, is create more variety of platforms (in different forms).
